Delaware Governor's Mansion

Known as Woodburn, the Delaware Governor's Mansion has served as the official residence of the state's governor since 1965. Charles Hillyard III bought the land at a sheriff's sale for $110 in the 1780s and built the house in 1790. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as "Governor's House" in 1972.

Old Statehouse

The Old Statehouse anchors The Green in downtown Dover, built between 1787 and 1792 as Delaware's seat of government. For 140 years it was the sole home of state government, from 1792 to 1932, and it doubled as the Kent County Court House until 1873. It's now a house museum, part of the Delaware National Historic Park and run by the Delaware Division of Historic and Cultural Affairs.
