the building
Towers and herringbone brick. The two-story brick firehouse has a hip roof and two vehicle bays for its engines, flanked by short towers with pyramidal roofs at the front corners. Decorative herringbone brickwork adds pattern to the otherwise plain civic facade.
the style
The Queen Anne style shows here in the paired corner towers and the decorative herringbone brickwork applied to an otherwise utilitarian two-bay firehouse.
