the building
Two buildings, one block. The larger Latham Block keeps a typical mid-19th century commercial design with classical influences, visible in its symmetrical windows with cast iron hoods, while the Fisher Building was renovated in the Classical Revival style in 1900 with a two-story bay window, a decorative cornice, and limestone trim.
the style
The block mixes mid-19th century commercial design with classical influences on the Latham side and a 1900 Classical Revival renovation on the Fisher side.
