St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Rock Creek Parish, traces its congregation to 1712, making it the oldest religious institution within the present-day District of Columbia. The current church building dates to 1775 and incorporates parts of an earlier 1719 structure, built in the Georgian style on Rock Creek Church Road NW.

the style

Built in 1775 in the Georgian style, incorporating fabric from the 1719 church it replaced.
