the building
Blind east and west walls. The Modernist eight-story building, rising 107.34 feet, has no windows on its east and west elevations, while windows on the north and south sides bring in daylight while keeping out radiant heat.
the style
The building is an example of modern architecture, with a windowless east-west orientation and calculated north-south glazing that shaped its facade around solar exposure rather than ornament.
