The American Bank Note Company Building at 70 Broad Street is a five-story Neoclassical building designed by Kirby, Petit & Green and completed in 1908 as headquarters for the American Bank Note Company, a leading engraver of banknotes, currency, stamps, and stock certificates. The company moved on to a Bronx printing plant afterward, and the building later passed through numerous owners after it was sold in 1988.
