The Martin W. Carr School is a four-story H-shaped brick schoolhouse at 25 Atherton Street in Somerville's Spring Hill neighborhood, built in 1898 as a fourteen-classroom elementary school. It was designed by local architect Aaron H. Gould and named for Martin W. Carr, a Somerville manufacturer who served as alderman, city councilor, and school committee member. The school operated until 1980, when it was converted into condominiums.
