The Jennie Foley Building, also known as the Jennie Foley–Victor A. Arrigo Building, is a four-story brick commercial and residential building at 626-628 S. Racine Avenue, built in 1889 with a ground-floor storefront and six apartments above. It stood at the center of Chicago's Sicilian community in the early twentieth century, one of many hybrid commercial-residential buildings there, most of which have since been demolished.

the style

The building is cataloged in the Chicago School idiom, seen here in its plain brick mass punctuated by hexagonal bay windows and a decorative metal cornice on the street-facing facade.
