The Henry A. Ware House is a 1913 American Craftsman residence at 460 Bellefontaine Street in Pasadena, designed by the noted local firm Greene & Greene.

the building

Roof and chimney. A complex gabled roof with overhanging eaves and exposed rafters and beams tops the house; its large front-facing gable holds a stepped brick chimney, and a one-story bay adds Tudor-inspired half-timbering.

the style

The house is a textbook example of American Craftsman design, built around the exposed structural details and deep, shading eaves the Greenes favored, here mixed with a Tudor-inspired half-timbered bay.
