The Home for Aged Couples is a group of three Classical Revival buildings at 409 and 419 Walnut Avenue and 2055 Columbus Avenue in Jamaica Plain, designed by John A. Fox and by Coolidge, Shepley, Bulfinch and Abbott, and built in stages between 1892 and 1927. Brick connectors once linked all three buildings around the time the Badger Building was added in 1927, though those connectors have since been demolished.
the style
The three buildings were designed as Classical Revival structures, unified in style despite being built across a 35-year span by different architects.

Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005. The building at 409 Walnut Avenue has since been boarded up and partially demolished, while since 1999 Rogerson Communities, successor to the Home for Aged Men founded in 1860, has led fundraising to redevelop the property.
